YAML / JSON Workbench

Validate, convert and format YAML or JSON locally, with duplicate-key checks, bounded alias handling, copy and file exports.

Valid JSON syntax; JSON is also a YAML subset. Choose the intended input type.

1 lines · 0 characters

Supported: JSON and one YAML 1.2 core document with string mapping keys. Duplicate keys are rejected in both formats. YAML formatting rebuilds the parsed values and drops comments and scalar styles. Anchors/aliases resolve to values within limits; cycles, merge keys and non-core tags are refused. Date-like YAML scalars stay strings; quote numeric IDs to preserve leading zeros. Limits: 64 KiB input, 256 KiB output, 32 levels, 10,000 expanded nodes, 20 aliases with the library expansion guard.

Processing, file import, copying and downloads run locally in your browser. Nothing you paste is uploaded, logged, put in a URL or saved automatically. Input is data; no scripts, templates or environment variables are executed.
